Ygnizem was captured by Rekenber Corporation and subjected to Wolfchev's inhumane experiments in the Regenschirm Laboratory. After being implanted with a Rune Stone (imitation of Ymir's Heart Piece), she threw up black blood as the core gradually kills her. After her death, her body was presumably dumped into the morgue, where she duplicated herself into a clone that escorts Wolfchev around. Once in a while, her subconscious would drive her clone to want to kill Wolfchev, but Wolfchev is able to snap the clone back into obedience with ease.

After Seyren Windsor and his comrades were captured and experimented on, Ygnizem's clone was tasked with fighting them to draw out their cores' power. During their final confrontation, Seyren manages to draw out Ygnizem's conscious through the clone and the clone was able to remember what happened to her original body. In a fit of rage, Ygnizem's clone stabs Wolfchev in the chest, severely wounding him before the clone fades away.
